Why I Started ROOTD

It Started With My Dad.

My name is Mario, and I’m the founder of ROOTD.

ROOTD started because of my dad.

I watched him deal with thinning hair and saw how much it affected the way he felt about himself. It wasn't just about hair. It was the constant checking in the mirror, fixing it, worrying about how it looked, and feeling less confident because of it.

I wanted to find something that actually helped.

I looked at the options out there, but I couldn't find a solution that felt simple, natural, reliable, and realistic for everyday life.

So I decided to create it myself.

That's Where ROOTD Began.

I built ROOTD around one simple idea:

You shouldn't have to spend your day thinking about your hair.

Our goal isn't to make you obsess over your appearance or feel like you have something to hide. It's to give you a simple system you can rely on, so you can apply it, trust it, and get on with your day.

What started as something I created for my dad has become something I want to make available to anyone who has ever felt less confident because of thinning hair.

ROOTD is about more than looking better.

It's about getting back to living without constantly thinking about your hair.
